@groundFungus You were right, just finished soldering and it works. Thank you so much and sorry for the waste of time
Sorry bothering again. But I have another problem lol. The backlight turned ON but the LCD doesn't show any text. Same connections, same code.
Did you try the contrast pot? Do the blocks change when you do adjust the contrast pot?
Post clear photos of the soldering. Both sides. Maybe we can see something that you are missing.

The blocks don't appear now, it just the empty display. (Backlight ON)
And yes, I tried the pot and doesn´t change.
