I just installed the latest IDE2.1 and it is not showing any ports, in fact the ports menu is greyed out. However the old IDE on the same machine works correctly and shows ports. I haven't tried the new IDE for months because the last time I tried it was a bit flakey, but this 2.1 version is unusable. Anyone had this problem and have any suggestions as to how to fix it?
What operating system?
Windows 10 Home edition. A bit more investigation shows the problem seems to be related to the Nano 33 IoT board because I can use some of the other Arduino boards successfully. Maybe Nano 33 IoT is just weird, or this board is corrupted in some way and won't talk to serial ports properly. Double click on the reset doesn't seem to fix the problem either.
Does the LED marked "L" on the board start pulsing after you do the double reset?

As other Nanos work OK I'm assuming this specific Nano 33 IoT is faulty in some way so I'll just bin it and buy another. Probably easier than struggling to find the problem with this one.
