Infrared Break Beam

Hello all

I am looking for a InfraRed Break Beam Photoelectric Sensor that can be used with Arduino,
5V if possible but with a detection length of 66cm, From what I have seen on the internet the maximum working detection is 50cm, Anyone know of a part I could use please.

This Vishay paper may be of interest.

I use the garage door sensor pair, they work great. Simply place a resistor about 150 ohm in my case in the + power line and watch the voltage drop as it detects something. They are modulated, have focus lenses and are quite immune to spurious light. There are several configurations available and they are not all the same.

Thanks gilshuitz I will check this out

Thanks GroundFungus, I will review this document
