Are there any infrared temperature sensors that reach 800 C and also work with arduino? and are also preferably cheap since i may need multiple? Do only thermocouples go that high?
My first Google search for such sensors shows ALL IR temperature sensors focus the IR energy on thermocouples to produce a voltage for the sensor. The same search found IR sensors in the range you asked about.
So, they all produce a voltage that may be sensed by an Arduino, but may need an amplifier.
