Hi @bgbetz, could you please describe your hardware setup and connections, and provide the output of the lsusb command?
The lsusb command must be executed from the Linux shell of the Uno Q after connecting to it via SSH, as explained in https://docs.arduino.cc/tutorials/uno-q/ssh/.
