Hello guys, im a SUPER novice at arduino, but i am extremely interested in getting to learn not. I bought an arduino kit which i've been playing around with. They joystick on the link below is what it came with. My question is ... how do i wire the 'SW' part of it?!?! I'm guessing that means when you press it kinda like the R3/L3 on a PS3. Does that change the resistance as well ? How does that work ? Also, just for confirmation, the Vrx and Vry mean the x output resistance and y output resistance respectively, correct ? Thanks a billion in advance. I tried searching this stuff up but came up short. Here's the link for a picture of the joystick:
At the top left, there's pin 5 labelled "SW" - the pin is normally open, but it doesn't say what it is wired to.
Hopefully, it is grounded, so just connect it to a digital pin, and enable the built-in pullup.
