Nevermind, I recant my previous post. In two minutes it was one second off. which comes to 12minutes/day slow. No dice for meeting normal standards. It is confirmed, the board's resonator is garbage. Thanks everyone.
Bummer, sorry to hear that. We do like to buy official boards or at least clones from reputable makers. Unfortunately, a lot of the common Arduinos use resonators, including the Uno, Pro and Pro Mini. I really like Adafruit's Boarduino, I have a couple, but it too uses a ceramic resonator. I haven't tried the EMS Diavolino, but it looks pretty nice and has a real crystal. It's fairly basic but that is a Good Thing IMHO. These days I usually am working on custom PCBs or on breadboards, in either case usually using a crystal. Not that there is usually a technical requirement for it, must just be my OCD or something ![]()
