kind of "cloud-container" until I finished the quick-guides

So I'm taking this thread as some kind of an online-container für several quick-guides for "nurbees"
(short for newbees that are in a hurry   )

to store pictures and for testing purposes until it all works as intended.
I call this quick-guides.

I will write some Autohotkey-scripts and also publish these Autohotkey-scripts for very quick writing down posts with clickable links to these quick-guides that have two aims:

  1. showing how posting posts can be accelerated (Ctrl-T, right-cklick Copy for forum)

  2. showing the most important rules in one to three pictures
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the original start of this post
4 keystrokes and 3 mouse-clicks to make an impressive first post

Hello newbee
you are welcomed: 4 key-strokes and 3 mouse-clicks to make in impressive first post:

If you take 10 minutes time to do point 5 this saves you minimum 60 minutes of time to get your project finished.
It is very likely that it saves you days to finish your project.

best regards Stefan

I think it would be useful if you also post an example of a "good/impressive" first posting that a newbie should be aiming to create.

IMHO the instructions will be hard to understand without the context of what they are intended to achieve.

Is currently enjoying a 7 day holiday for a sock puppet account which has been deleted.

Would also suggest he take a few moments to follow the links Learn How To Use The Forum.
Other general help and troubleshooting advice can be found here.
It will help you get the best out of the forum.

The problem with this explanations you linked above is: they are too long for users that are in a hurry trying to speed up getting answers by doing a quick posting. Result: They don't read it at all - mission failed.
So my way is a pragmatic approach that tries to take up their goal of doing a quick post to get a quick answer.
best regards Stefan

Yes you are correct in that those who are in too much of a rush dont read them.
It is also true that they are the ones that usually end up on a short break until they do which negates them getting the help they wanted as fast as they wanted.

And if they dont have the patience to read they should maybe find another hobby.

Successful mission all round.

that I wrote "mission failed" is generalisation that is too big to be true - generally generalised it is wrong. Of course a lot of users will read these sticky postings and follow the recommendations.

I would like to direct these users that are in a hurry to a careful style that makes them more successful.
I will do that by posting a short post that contains a link. So I hope reading a four line post is not annoying if it will appear quite frequently
best regards Stefan

This is the post that I will be use for Test-purposes.
As I'm only re-editing this post this thread will not appear on top of the list.

Hi Newbee,
here is a link with tips how to speed up getting good answers
best regards Stefan

Your objective is a good one but I don't think what you have done, so far, will achieve it. Also, your keystrokes are only relevant for copy/pasting code from the Arduino IDE. In spite of your Title your "instructions" give no advice about how to write a question to go along with the code. Just posting code is not sufficient.

Alternatively change the Title to (for example) "Simple steps to copy your Arduino code into a Forum Post"

Separately, when eventually you have settled on the final content of your instructions you should put them in a new Thread and refer the newbies to that so that they are not confused by all the discussion here.
