I have this, fixing it. Board looks just same as in this thread. Circuit is Mega 328P.
I found laser engraving software, but need drivers. After hours googling result- nada, nothing. I found just this same engraver from many shops, but not software, not drivers.
Software is easy. But of course need drivers. If anyone can help in this case, thanks...
Reason I write here is simple: I found this earlier thread with same board.
2000ma is probably too high for a nema 17 though the motors you have may be rated up to that. You may get plenty enough torque for an engraver at 1000ma. Good drivers would probably be the drv8825 boards from pololu.com.
Looks unpossible case. This laser engraver is quite universal- found million seller in aliexpress etc. But, this my item I bought with other electronics. No power supply, no cables, no manuals, no serial numbers, no product identification.
I try "eleksmaker-benbox.hex", but this is not right hex-file. Stepper motor only make noise, but not move axles. I test 5V and 12V power supplies. So- reason no any identification this device only way is forget this device. Unpossible found right hex-file. Unpossible invite all benbox-software settings. No any forum ask more information.
GRBL is the "GOTO" for this sort of work.
You will find lots of topics in here covering that and the software you need to be able to talk to the board once GRBL has been installed on it.
