I´m looking for a pre-built LED array wich is RoHS-compliant and for which Arduino drivers are available.
The LED array should be able to display texts and number on the screen (single or multi-colored).
The display must be RoHS compliant.
Unfortunately, these displays are not RoHS-Compliant (I´v checked with the manufacturer):

And is it because of the materials that they MUST be made of that does not. ie they will never be compliant.
You may have to check the definition of RoHS-Compliance, to find out why they aren't.
That implies that you are going to build them into something that you are going to sell inside the EU.
That is the only reason for getting a RoHS compliant module.
The thing is that those manufacturers are from the U.S. and most of them do not have a clue what RoHS is about so it is easy to say no because they don't know.
I used to be the RoHS compliance guy at one place I worked so I know the regulations.
Have you tried one of the major European distributors like Farnell or RS?
