I have come up with idea about making some kind of calculator which counts how many poker chips are on the table. I'm thinking to use load sensor or whatever suits for my needs, its range should be about 0.1g to 5000.0g. Poker chips that I own weights 10.8 grams per chip.
For now, I don't know which kind of sensor is the best for my needs. I just need sensor, which can be used when there is for example glass on top of it, and above glass the chips.
Arduino alone won't meet requirements:
0.1g minimal as accuracy? Then with 5000 total, you will need something to distinguish one out of 50K, pretty much at least 16 bit accuracy. Arduino can only provide one out of 1000 when you match its voltage to the force gauge output. You are sure you need to measure up to 500 chip in one location? Force gauges drift over time, when there is load on top. You could, get a digital scale and set it to count and display pieces. Will that work?

A little bit more than one kilogram is needed per sensor - five sensors for five different chips.
And 0.1g is needed because one gram resolution would fall if the pile is for example seven chips - Arduino would count it as 8. So any good sensor for this with 10k resolution?
That would work. If you need a bit more range, you can use say 4 force gauges one on each corner of a weighting plate to reach up to 4 times to total weight.
Ah okay. Could you link a sensor which would be suitable for this project?

They should have something useful. You may need a bare strain gauge and an amplifier chip. What I use is a teaching-quality piece that outputs analog signals for weights on it. It's 0.1g accurate but the voltage range doesn't match arduino so I can't get that accuracy.

Hi,guys, frankly speaking, my friend has the gambling addiction. He says me every time that he won't play casino anymore, but it doesn't work. He hates himself for it, cause he loses all the money. He has changed to replace the casino for another stuff. All the casino he used there are bad ones. He can't win anything there. There was only a place, where he could win something and where he has not been lied. It was the agen bandar poker. This application is the part of this casino,so I look for it very much. I think it can help him. It's much more better, I think.
