MAX7219 breakout board for 64 discrete LEDs

Boards are in. Here's one assembled and connected to an older Arduino via the SPI - D13, D11, D10 for SS.
And a video clip of the first LED of each the 8 columns.
I don't know what it takes to shoot a decent video of LEDs, I haven't figured it out.
Will have kit prices posted shortly.

Wow thats a really cool board, where do you sell these?

What applications is this for?

I'll be selling them via paypal - more info will be posted here tomorrow
Cross Roads Electronics.
Schematic is simple, just a MAX7219, 2 caps, resistor, and the rest is headers.

Application - there's been a bunch of topics where folks wanted to drive a bunch of individual LEDs.
One way is to gang up a bunch of shift registers - an often better way is to just a MAX7219, which is basically 8 shift registers. So I wanted to make that easier to do.

That is pretty awesome Crossroads, and I see you can daisy chain a bunch of them as well. Nice work.

Thanks.
Got it posted at my website now with pricing for US shipping. International, need to check on a case by case basis.
