MKR NB1500 battery + solar

Is there any chance to make the MKR NB 1500 board power with battery and solar?
How would I adopt this for example? https://www.google.com/amp/s/peppe8o.com/raspberry-pi-pico-solar-cells/

You can, but note that MKR NB 1500 has a built-in battery charger and the "Board Power Supply (USB/VIN)" is 5V. So you do not need to use TP4056 module, rather use a small MPPT charger controller/DC-DC Converter circuit (suitable for the size of the solar panel, like Solar Power Manager 5V — Arduino Official Store) with 5V output to connect your solar panel to the VIN or USB port of MKR NB 1500.

yes, that is what I looked for. But this part is also not using the built in battery charger, right?

Solar Power Manager 5V — Arduino Official Store will allow you to:

  1. power MKR NB 1500 via USB (5V 1A) output
  2. charge a 3.7V battery if you do not want to use MKR NB 1500 built-in charger.
