Multi-position rotaries as analog switches as HID

I am now attempting to use a Pro Micro as an HID as an alternative means of interfacing my cockpit(or Leonardo/Uno). With this, I loose functionality of my multi-position analog switches.

Did you look at the Nano in place of the UNO.
How small a footprint do you need?
