In case someone still needs help with this issue, check this project where I made 4 RFID readers work simultaneously without any problem : GitHub - Annaane/MultiRfid: Multiple RFID readers System with Arduino.

P.S: Whenever I got the error "Communication failure, is the MFRC522 properly connected?", I would just check if the wiring is good (wires well inserted on the pins), or I check if the soldering is well done.

The readers need more power than the Arduino can supply on its 3.3v pin. Use an external and stable 3.3v power supply for all your readers, it should work fine (be sure to connect all the grounds together).
I got 6 RFID sensors working fine :slight_smile:

i have connected the miso with a 4,7k resistor but the reader2 dosen't work !!!! heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!!!!
