multiple switches 1 pin

Hello,
I've come across a problem where I would like to be able to have 4 switches connected to a single digital In pin.
Is there a component that I could route them through which would send a signal if ANY of the switches are pressed?

If you are not worried about identifying the individual switches then just connect them all to the same input pin, just as if they were different input pins. Then any switch closing should register a logic zero on the input.

Wow! talk about missing the obvious solution.

That's exactly what I'm after and I'm glad it uses the very complex component of WIRE to make it work.
