My Arduino IDE cannot detect any port

This problem is regarding the IDE not able to detect any port at all. My laptop is running windows 11 and an Acer Nitro 5 Series. My laptop can detect mouse, pendrive and all. Even the board or Arduino (light is on) however the IDE cannot detect the board (not connected it said).

A professional that I ask just told me to basically get a new computer as this one might not able to use Arduino IDE. Any help would be appreciated. Even if you can confirm what the professional said.

Port is greyed out

Device Manager - Hidden Devices, it is not enabled because of legacy something but a colleague of mind also has this but Arduino IDE still able to detect.

Hi @1nahryz. Please add a reply here on this forum thread to tell us which Arduino board you are using.

Please be as specific as possible as some Arduino boards with similar names have significant differences and the forum helpers can only provide effective assistance if we are aware of which one is being used.

If you aren't sure how to describe which board you are using, you can provide the link to the online product listing you bought the board from and we'll proceed based on the information found there.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by that.

Please start Windows Device Manager, then click on the "View" menu. Do you see a next to the "Show hidden devices" menu item?:

Or not?:

I can not confirm that. I used to run IDE 2.x (I think that the last version was 2.3.2) on a 2nd gen I3 with 8 GB of RAM till the machine died.
