That external antenna might well just be one of the antennas you have on the GPS module, however the long cable might allow the GPS to be placed in a more advantageous position.
Or try a GPS where you can be more certain its a geniune non-fake one.
Might be helpful to people reading this thread in the future if you reveal what the cure actually was ........
I just noticed its not yet fixxed but data was posted to live database earilerbwhen i checked.. it might be because ithe satelight was connected by the other code!! but it doesnt connects to satelight with this code. I was checking if the local host works so it worked and find a satelight then i tried the code for live website it sended the data. but when i stop and the device and give it power suppy after sometime then it fails to connect!!
Unless you are very specfically executing code and sending commands to reconfigure the operation of the GPS, then the GPS will in the normal way.
Of course if you mess up the Arudino code to read the serial data from the GPS then you wont get very far. But that is not a confuguration problem with the GPS.
