NEO 6M GPS module -Error converting raw data into readable data

I ran this code on Arduino Uno to get latitude and longitude values from the NEO 6M GPS module:

When I uploaded this code, the latitude and longitude values displayed on the serial monitor were the ones already initialised in the program; i.e float lat = 28.5458,lon = 77.1703. The function gpsSerial.available() didn't seem to work, although the GPS module was constantly receiving data.

Then, I went for the TinyGPSPlus library.

After this, I tried another code:

I am facing the same issue. I'm using the Arduino Uno board. Attached is the screenshot of the serial printer.

first thing to check when a GPS does not work is RF signal strength. have you tried with an external antenna or with the GPS outdoors?

Gps does need to be outdoors, although the screen is showing no characters received, so faulty wiring, faulty GPS, faulty code or faulty Arduino.

Troubleshooting steps here;
