North Texas Arduino/Processing Club

Some of the local hamfests coming up in the DFW area are:

9-10 Jan 2009 + Cowtown Ham Fest sponsored by the Lockheed Martin Amateur Radio Club (http://cowtownhamfest.org) at the Lockheed Martin Recreation Area in Fort Worth

12-13 June 2009 + Ham-Com (this is a rather large hamfest) (http://www.hamcom.org/) at the Plano Center in Plano

The Dallas Personal Robotics Group http://www.dprg.org/ is holding their semi-annual roborama contest on Saturday, Nov 22nd. I'll be in town for that, any other arduinees going to be there? Might be an opportunity to meet some fellow geeks.

I realize this thread is pretty old, however I go to UNT and if this group is still meeting I would like to get involved.

Anyone do any cool Arduino based christmas projects. I was looking at some of the lighting projects online and thought it would be a great platform to use an Arduino.

Here is one such project I saw. While based on a Parallax, I bet it could be done with an Arduino.

I would like to join to the group. Are you guys still meeting?

Thx
