Old IDE dropped dead - no ESP32 board list

I have 2 RPi 5s with 1.8.19 on both. they both worked for years. today I went to upload the latest upgrade to my program and the IDE shows my Lilygo T-Beam as an Arduino Yun. The ESP32 boards do not show up in the manager. The ESP board files will not load. every time I try to install board manager 3.2 the download shows a different size, and the CRC does not add up. there is no ACM0 port. is there a maintenance thing happening?

Hi @Geek_Emeritus.

Which URL do you have in the "Additional Boards Manager URLs" field of Arduino IDE's preferences (File > Preferences)?

Do you mean that you don't see any port at all for the Lilygo T-Beam board in Arduino IDE's Tools > Port menu?

Here is the official ESP32 boards URL
