Open Energy monitoring system.

Hello i do not know this is a programming question or hardware question. But a friend of mine bought one of these Open Energy monitoring units and i was wondering something it looks like a 9v is coming in and has a voltage divider down to 5v. and there are the 3 Ct clamps on it. I was wondering how does it know If you are doing 120, or 220, or higher voltage do you tell it in programming that this is the voltage? and it takes that voltage with the current and make the amps or watts? sorry i know nothing about this home monitoring stuff I was just wondering.

Is it even an Arduino question?

There are some Open Energy monitoring units that are Arduino shields, but the poster did not specify so who knows? This is more a hardware question in any case because it appears that the user is responsible for purchasing an appropriate AC/AC adapter.

This is a arduino question sorry i forgot to say, these are one of the devices it uses a 328p with arduinio sketches Click here.

There is no straight connection to 110,220,480 or other voltages coming in only thing coming in is a 9v adapater so I'm only guessing it is in software that they are telling it that there is a voltage on it.

Okay i have found out it is in coding that it is put if it is 110, 220,240, or 480. the 9v that is coming is only a sensing wire saying that there is power. and that it is drop down to 5v. From that 5v is it use to sense there is power.
