Open source electronic actuator controller

Hi All,

I am embarking on a new project to get my workshop up to scratch. I have done a lot of googling for an opensource electronic actuator controller but havent had any joy so wondered if anyone else has come across an opensource board for controlling linear actuators. The key thing is, it needs to be able to handle up to four actuators and keep them in sync.

The application is simply a workbench that I want an actuator on each leg which will raise and lower at the push of a button.

Usually that's done with a single actuator on a "scissors" type of arrangement ...

Which obviates the need for keeping multiple actuators in sync!
