Orange Pip (Uno and Mega clones)

Does anyone have any experiences using the Orange Pip (Uno and Mega) clones?

Thinking of trying one of them out but would like to know if anyone has tried one of them before and if they had any problems or not.

Thanks

Not used this particular make but they seem expensive for clones.

Nice new colour (there is lots of blue on global marker) and luxurious box. It seems to be identical with R3 version. I think it worth for try.

Inspection of their information suggests it is a direct copy of the UNO R3 (and Mega 2560), and the technical description also appears to be lifted pretty much verbatim from the "Products" page here.

No reason to suspect it is in fact, not identical to the Arduino product.

I know this is an old thread, but for the benefit of anyone who arrives here via the search, Rapid are one of the distributors for Orangepip in the UK. I can confirm that these are directly compatible with the Uno and Mega2560. These boards are manufactured to a very high standard. Orangepip’s core concept is to offer a saving over the official boards without sacrificing any quality. There is a full UK support network so there is no risk to the customer which can often be the case with boards bought direct from the Far East.

Note your reference to "direct from the Far East". :grinning:
