Phidgets USB RFID reader

Phidgets do an RFID reader which communicates via USB.

Has anyone got this working as a peripheral on an Arduino? To use it with a "big PC", you need to install a package of support software on any machine using the reader, not just the one compiling the code for reading the reader.

You need to make the arduino a USB host, while I beleve there is a shield for this you still need to write the drivers yourself. it's not an easy thing.
