That's not the Arduino philosophy. Arduino holds out the promise that you can grab some libraries and create an auto ranging, laser firing, RC controlled vehicle that writes it own WEB page and phones home when its mission is finished.
Pretty quickly people find out that you just can't "combine two codes". without any effort. I'm sure most people come and go. Arduino is for stirring a vision of what is possible. Those that accept the idea that it's going to take more work and are excited by learning will get the benefit of Arduino I'm sure there are not many of those, but so what?
