Planning and Implementing an Arduino Program

Hi, please when posting jpg or png of CAD, make sure definition is good, sorry but the Eagle one in this thread really needs to be double the resolution it is.

Also make all the lines/wires/text the same colour, BLACK.
In other words use a CAD that is simple to use and very few attributes, ie PCB Express, it exports to graphics and is nice and clear and BLACK and WHITE.

Sorry Eagle really makes my eyes bleed, especially when text and lines and wire are all over printed and you ask the originator to fix it, they don't know how in most cases.

Tom.....

Eagle can be a good at Professional level when it comes to PCB design and such, but only to be used as a documentation application it has too many facilities that need adjustment.

Fair point, although you really should get your eyes seen to.... 8)

Downloading and installing ExpressPCB even as we speak.

Experimenting with it....
New pic to follow.

ExpressSCH pix in Reply#14.

Hi, attached 4 components I have made.
Just high light one and then select Component then save custom component and it will be saved to the component library.
Adjust as you need.

Thanks.... you obviously were reading my mind...

Eagele can Export Images, schematics or board layout, in monochrome. Just click a checkbox on the export screen.

Thank you Robin! Your work has been super helpful.

Great work, Robin!

May I abstract this on the ArduinoInfo.Info WIKI?? Might be nice to have it all in one place.. This is really needed for the Life After Blink users...

Hi, Robin, nice work mate.
JimboZA schematics look good.

Yes - it's already in the public domain. It would be nice to have a link back to the original.

I hadn't seen that Wiki before. Style is probably a bit cluttered for my taste but it seems to have good stuff.

If yet to, you should consider cross-posting to instructables/learn.adafruit.
Visibility here might be limited here for something you obviously worked
hard to compose and organize.

Personally I like comments to dumb things down further,
but if everything is named properly it can work too I guess.

Thanks Robin. Just reading thru the text was a real learning experience.
