I'm Francesca from Arduino.
The PLC IDE was developed for our "solutions", Portenta Machine Control and Opta.
The objective is to provide a programming environment which offers an easy and low code access to the resources of these PLCs, hence, each product has a customized I/O and connectivity section in its Resources tab tree as you can see below:
Portenta Breakout is not supported in the PLC IDE environment.
