Hi to all,

I've to power my Arduino project that have:

  • no 2 motors RS-540SH-6527 connected to an H Bridge L298N;
  • no 2 servo HX5010;
  • no 1 servo DS04-NFC
  • no 1 Arduino MEGA.
    Furthermore there is a worm gear motor JGY-370 (12v) not connected directly to Arduino.
    I've in mind to buy an AC to DC 12v (10/20A) power supply with 2/3 output, and use step-down to obtain the correct input voltage for each component.
    Could you suggest if this solution is correct and/or if there is any other please?

Do you think an ancient <2Amp L298N can power two motors that already draw 1.6Amp each unloaded.

Oh yes, you are right Wawa, I’m newby and was not able to explain because my two motors runs so slowly!
I’m provided to buy another h bridge for high power (TE589 10A).
Do you think this will be ok?
And what about power supply system?

Don't kow that one.
Do you need an H-bridge? (forwards and reverse)
There are drivers on the same page as the motor you linked to.
And Pololu.com has a whole range of drivers.
