Have driven 3 pins high and are shorting them to GND to use as a binary configuration code.
Currently done this with some 4 pin headers someone kindly soldered up for me but want a prettier version, maybe a color coded jumper with a header glued on or a dip switch all tied to a bus bar so i dont have to keep checking the little table of config codes.
As usual went into google hoping for an easy find but cant find any 4 pin jumper, let alone color coded.
Anyone got search term tips or anything that will accomplish the same thing.
pins 49, 51 & 53 of my arduino mega 2560 are read to see if they have been connected to GND. this reads out a binary configuration code which turns certain functionality on or off.
They are connected by a 4 pin header with a combination of 3 of these pins soldered to GND pin. I have a selection of the headers all soldered to correspond to a different configuration.
Problem is that looks ugly and is very flimsy.
I want to find a better solution, something that is easy to recognise what current configuration the arduino is in. either a colored 4 pin jumper shunt (I dont think these actually exist) or a 4 pole dip switch that i just solder one end together.
