When will it be available and what will be the cost. I do hope this product is complete and NOT like the UNO Q where we are still waiting for parts.

[image] serge_t: This is definitely the end of Arduino as we known it. Jumping to such extreme conclusions is not reasonable or productive. Look at all the other new products since the time of the acquisition by Qualcomm: Bughopper Modulino Extender Modulino Hub Modulino Joystick Modulino Latch Relay Modulino LED Matrix Modulino Light Modulino Motors Modulino Vibro Nesso N1 Starter Kit R4 UNO Breakout Carrier UNO Media Carrier UNO Q I think these are all very well suited to hobbyists and makers. Even if the hobbyist/maker market doesn't happen to find the VENTUNO Q to be useful, do you truly believe it is the end of the world if Arduino creates some products for other markets? And I also don't think your conclusion is at all guaranteed. I acknowledge that the price on this board is higher than what is typically attractive to this market. However, many hobbyist and makers are already buying products with similar price points to use as platforms for AI agents and other compute demanding AI-based applications. In fact, the most common dedicated AI agent machine is a Mac Mini, which starts at $800 USD. There was so much demand that Apple wasn't even able to keep them in stock for some time. [image] serge_t: see post #23 and #25 That information was published erroneously. If you check the Conrad site now you will see it has been removed. The latest official news we have received on the pricing was mentioned here: [image] Ventuno Q: price speculation vs. Jetson Orin Nano Super developer kit? VENTUNO Q A slide on a Ventuno Q presentation by an Arduino employee says "< $300 USD / < 359 Euros (TBD)". Also Ubuntu pre-installed. And "Launching later this summer". [image] sonofcy: When will it be available A bit of information on the subject here: https://youtu.be/6a_erB1WUts?si=XKn2mvUawzIiMhTu&t=145 Arduino VENTUNO Q will be available by the end of Q2 2026

I am super busy with one of my other hobbies until the first week in Oct so Q2 will be fine.

Is it the war that is driving them up?

More than likely the retooling of manufacturers from DDR4 consumer grade memory to the high bandwidth memory used by AI data centers.

A "little" too expensive for the Arduino customer base. Available soon → Qualcomm is a reputable company; a release date estimate must exist. Why isn't it more widely known? [image]

It was announced as end of Q2 2026 in the video taken at 'Embedded World 2026' and I have heard of no slippage yet, but the current memory price fiasco may have an effect.

The price of Ventuno Q is approximately US $525, which is quite high. I feel that the Ventuno Q may not be very suitable for general discussion in this forum. If we look at boards like the Arduino Uno Q, Arduino Uno R4 WiFi, and Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi, we can observe that they are also not widely discussed here, likely because of their relatively specialized applications. For most control-related projects, simpler boards such as the Arduino Uno, Nano, or Mega are usually sufficient and more commonly used. For networkig, the low cost ESP32 is here.

I agree. ESP32 is currently the most universal microcontroller.

Ah, yes, I forgot about AI. I am still not sure if it's the best invention ever, or the end of humanity. Time will tell.
