Printing function

Sometimes I print (on paper) sketches. I have to copy & paste on Word, then print from there.
I'd like printing directly from the IDE, with the same colors and with line numbers if they are visible.

What do you think about it?

What do you think about it?

I think it's a great idea. I do it all the time. Ctrl + P.

It's b/w...
Colors are useful for a better reading of a long sketch.

I use PDFwriter, that is a print to PDF driver and it captures all colours of the sketch.

If you still want paper, you could print the PDF

You can see the PDF as a sort of paperless proof print !

Uhmm...
My Samsung color laser printer prints it b/w; also CutePDF Writer, set in color mode, makes a b/w pdf... :frowning:

So somewhere you have a setting (economy?) that removes all the colour settings..

Are the PDF generated also B&W?

That means it must be near the application settings. I'll have a look.

in the IDE

CTRL-P (Or FILE-> Print)
dialog pops up

select cute pdf writer
select 2nd tab

select color?

does this help?

No...
Color options are on.
Days ago I also tried copy&paste to word, but it was the same.

FWIW, I get ugly (worse than screen font) black&white text when I print to PDF on my Mac as well.
