Problem with Arduino Leonardo

When I connect the Arduino to the computer, the keyboard starts typing automatically without stopping! Any help.

Hi @alx10m. I'll provide instructions you can follow to work around this problem:

  1. Disconnect the USB cable of the Arduino board from your computer.
  2. Open the sketch you want to upload.
  3. Select the appropriate board from Arduino IDE's Tools > Board menu.
  4. Hold down the reset button on your Arduino board.
  5. Connect the Arduino board to your computer with a USB cable.
  6. Select Sketch > Upload from the Arduino IDE menus.
  7. Watch the black output panel at the bottom of the Arduino IDE window until you see some output of this form:
Sketch uses 3462 bytes (12%) of program storage space. Maximum is 28672 bytes.
Global variables use 149 bytes (5%) of dynamic memory, leaving 2411 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2560 bytes.

  8. Immediately release the reset button

The upload should now complete successfully.

Thank you
But if you can help me for my mouse
When I connect it, it doesn't move, even though I followed all the steps. I installed HID-Project by NicoHood, USB Host Shield 2.0, and Mouse by Arduino, but it's no use! I'm using an Arduino Leonardo with a host shield, and the mouse I'm using is a Razer Cobra Pro.

You are welcome.
