Programming the arduino mkr nb 1500

Hi Everyone,
I have to acquire a signal from a microphone into a microcontroller then send the rms value by sms.
Can anyone tell me if the arduino mkr nb 1500 is the right arduino to use and if it is can anyone tell me how to program it.
