Short question, is that "http://www.distrelec.de/Web/Downloads/86/02/KX-7-12-88602.pdf?mime=application%2Fpdf" the quarz of the ARDUINO micro? I want to use the ATMEGA32U4 (with USB) on an own pcb and need to know which quarz to use. The original quarz is small and has soldering pads, but I think I will be able to solder it. As I have very little space on my pcb a "bigger" quarz won't fit.
It seems to be the same part, looking at the schematics (click !).
It is tiny, but so is the spacing on the controller.
You could use an oven to solder these 2 parts.
As your link leads to a German site, i guess you are not in the states.
Nevertheless a small disclaimer:
All at your own risk, and do not use a microwave oven.

I will use the ATMEGA32U4 in TQFP44 package which is hand-solderable.
Another question:
The datasheet says that the load capacitance is 12pF. Does that mean that I have to use 12pF capacitors? The ARDUINO MICRO uses 22pF capacitors!
I now tried to read with a magnifying glass what is written on top of the ARDUINO MICRO's quartz and I read "16.032"! I assume that that means that it is an 16.032MHz quartz and not 16MHz, but I think that a 16MHz quartz will do!?
