Sorry, but as your photo is not actually focused (take it outside in daylight and use a real camera!), I cannot read the resistor values. 
You are apparently using analog readings. Good. Now connect a 1k resistor from A1 to Vcc. 
Were you using pinMode of INPUT_PULLUP on A0 and A1? If not, do so but you will almost certainly need a resistor to Vcc on A1.
