Recommended USB-C hub and Power Supply for Arduino UNO Q

what would you recomend for a usb-c dock with an hdmi port and at least three usb-a ports for the arduino uno q. I would like to find one that relibaly works and preferably can be purchased from micro center. I will use the hdmi for the monitor and two usb ports for mouse and keyboard. I want one that powers my usb devices.

I'm not an Uno-Q user. Have you seen / read https://forum.arduino.cc/t/uno-q-usbc-dongle-issue/1410296/.

The one I have has worked great with no issues but has only two A ports, two C ports, the HDMI and the power pass through.

UGREEN Revodok Pro 106, USB C Hub 6 in 1 with 4K 60Hz HDMI, 10Gbps USB-C 3.2 & USB-A 3.2, 100W Power Delivery, Aluminum Case

The same brand makes others with more ports but that will cost more. If I get another I would skip the HDMI port. I only used it the first couple days. Since then I have been using SSH and not been tying up one of my monitors. When I am not using a keyboard and mouse the A ports are available for other things. I suspect in the future I will consider getting accessories with c ports rather than a ports.

I have a pretty cheap one, that I am using now...
Amazon.com: UGREEN USB C Hub 5 in 1 Multiport Adapter Revodok 105 4K HDMI, 100W Power Delivery, 3 USB-A Data Ports, USB C Dongle for MacBook Pro/Air, iPad Pro, iMac, iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max, XPS, Thinkpad : Electronics

I had ordered another one with a few more options, but they lost it in the mail and I cancelled it.
Amazon.com: Hiearcool USB C Hub Ethernet 8-in-1, 4K@60Hz USB-C to HDMI Multiport Adapter with 1Gbps RJ45, 100W PD, 3 USB 3.0, SD/TF, Compatible for MacBook Pro/Air, Dell, Lenovo Laptops : Electronics

I have been using this one which seems to work well (including HDMI) but it only has two type-A ports, in addition to two type-C ports, one of which supports PD in to power the whole thing. I am using a PD-capable laptop power brick to power the hub and the UNO Q.
When I first ordered the Q I found the price on the hub they offered with it unacceptable, so I started shopping on Amazon and got lucky with my first try. I think Anker is a reasonably reputable brand.

I think I will get this one.

I got this one..

UGREEN Revodok Pro 9 in 1 USB C Hub

and don’t forget like I did..

need a power supply too..

can confirm the above works..

have fun.. ~q

I am using this hub that I got from AMAZON US.

BASEUS 9-in-1 Multifunctional Type-C Hub Docking Station. For a keyboard , a Logitech wireless USB keyboard / trackpad combo. And a 5v 3A usb C power supply to power the hub. Tested on the Arduino Q 4GB. ASIN B0B1PT5FVM. Cost @ 39.00 US $. HDMI from hub to Video Display. Works fine.

I use this from AMAZON. ASIN : B0B1PT5FVM.

9-in-1 hub. Needs 5v 3A usb-C power adapter to supply power. HDMI cable HDMI/M - HDMI/M to display, and a keyboard/trackpad - or Mouse. I used a Logitech wireless keyboard / trackpad combo. Worked fine with my Arduino Q 4gb.

I started using a different dongle. It works well including the HDMI (have not tested the ethernet). I selected it primarily for the size and shape stacks well with the Uno Q.

It is just $13 CAD from Amazon.ca

BENFEI USB C HUB 6in1 with HDMI(4K@60Hz), 100Mbps Ethernet, 100W Power Delivery

thanks for the information on the usb-c hub.

If you didn’t tell me the usb hub worked, I would not have guess where things plug in.

It works well using Port Connect USB-C 5 in 1 docking station

connected devices :

  • Screen (via HDMI output)
  • Logitech HD720p webcam
  • Logitech K400r keyboard (include a pad)

NB : an external power (via USB-C adapter) is required.
