Hey there,
i would like to "hack" a remote control light switch, so that i can also turn on and off the light with the arduino (with a radio module)
Do you have any recommendations that work?
Kind regards

Hello, for what I know you need an infrared receiver from that then you get the signal of the remote control and then you have to program arduino so that when it receives that particular signal it transmits the radio wave which must also be reinterpreted to turn on the light.
Sorry but that's all I know, but you can search the internet hoping that in the meantime someone will give you a more complete answer.
Depends what you are trying to do. Why you need arduino control?
Post some info about the actual RF hardware (remote/receiver).
Open it up and see what 'flavour' it is like Zigbee or Alexa or Google. Then see if there is an Arduino library for that. I would make a medium wager it is supported.
Cheaper than an Uno, and good for 15 amps.
I already have an arduino. So it would be just a nice add on to have like a timer, it could automatically turn off the light after a certain time.
I don't have bought hardware. That's why i am asking which hardware works with arduino.
Good.
I't a hit or miss without knowing actual transmitter/receiver. Not probably but certainly possibly, it can even use rolling code and then you are out of luck for sure.
How about some nice wifi connected switch, ready made timer functions, app control, alexa...
