Hello, I can not remove the password access to the REST API.
I click on open, then restart, but always remain with the password
The interface of the webpanel is not clear, we should definitely improve it: you don't need to restart the yun to open/close the rest api, just click on one of the radio buttons and you're done
Out of curiosity, what browser are you using?
Normaly chrome, but i have tried explorer 8.
i tried opera but the REST api want login e password
what is the login and password?
default ones are user root, pwd arduino
have you tried with chrome as well?

Was this resolved? I am having the same problem. I have tried IE and Chrome and can not get the REST api to change. Also my list of found WiFi networks is always blank and I am surrounded by them.
Use Firefox.
