RFM42B

Hi All,

I recently rescue'd (aqquired...) 15x RFM42B radio Transmitters in 433Mhz.

Has anyone had any experience using these with Arduino?

I have had a quick look around for examples but not found anything yet. It would be a shame to throw them away!

Cheers

Search for "rfm42b arduino". Any of the HopeRF Arduino libraries for RFM radios will work, though possibly with a few modifications.

I think its the same as the RFM22B (Si4432), register set look similar.

A fairly capable device.

I have no experience with coding for Ardunio, only PICAXE.

Thanks for the pointers, looks like another one to put on the rainy day list of things to play about with.

Hopefully get something working and will try to remember to post a follow up.

I think I have read something about the RFM42B and PICAXE. Did you develop a lost RC model finder?

I dont have any knowledge of PICAXE.

Yes I did develop a RFM22B based lost model locator for PICAXE, although the newer LoRa and Arduino based one is heaps better, much longer range.

I also did $50SAT, based on the RFM22B and PICAXE also.
