RP2040 TMRpcm LIbrary equivalent?

Hi guys, I am building an audio player with the Nano rp2040. I was hoping that the TMRpcm library which manipulates PWM to play simple WAV audio files would work.

However the most common way I can see that people have been playing audio is setting the PIO to output an I2S signal and driving the max98357a.

Before purchasing this. I just wanted to see if there was a compatible library for me to use the PWM to play simple WAV files? similar to how the TMRpcm does.
