RS458 Ultrasonic Anemometer

Hi,

I need to connect a send and receive command from and to a Ultrasonic anemometer from Thies.
The anemometer has a RS485 interface and i need to use half duplex so i can put multiple in a bus system.

I'm thinking i need a shield with a MAX485 chip ?
Do i need to connect the A & B from the chip to the TXD-/RXD- and the TXD+/RXD+?

Yes.
Also the terminating resistor, 120 ohm, at each end of the line (Rt in Figure 1).
