The ground of the arduino has to be connected to the ground of your 3018-control

Thank you, this did the trick, as soon as I connected the two gnd wires it was responsive :slight_smile:

Hi Stefan, thank you for your suggestions, the answer from zwieblum did the trick, I will, however build the code iteratively as you suggested while building the rest of the project.
