Serial communication - Arduino Uno

I'm trying to connect my arduino uno to a pump that uses a serial connection. The pinout is showed in the first picture:

1 - Motor Voltage (Vin)
2 - Logic Voltage (5V)
3 - not used
4 - RX (3.3V)
5 - TX (3.3V)
6 - Reset
7 - Sync
8 - Ground

I only have an Arduino Uno, 8-Channel Relay board and a 12V outside power supply. I'm not sure if the Relay board will be needed, but I have it for controlling other components.

I also have a RJ-45 breakout (shown in second picture), which I can put on a breadboard and connect to certain pins on the Arduino, and then run a RJ-45 cable to the pump. but I don't know which pins go where.
So, do can someone tell me where each of the 8 pins connect to on the Arduino?

Thanks

I have no idea what this pump is and I guess no-one else does either...

But...
1 (Vin) - +ve power supply (not from Arduino!)
2 (5V) - 5V pin
3 - nothing
4 (RX) - TX (pin1 Uno)
5 (TX) - RX (pin0 Uno)
6 (Reset) - whatever digital pin you want
7 (Sync) - whatever digital pin you want
8 (Ground) - Breadboard ground (connected this to Arduino ground too)

... seems logical. But yeah. No idea what the reset & sync functionality is for this pump you are describing...

You'll have to provide a lot more information on the pump than a schematic of the pin that connects to something.

You'll need to know what speed the device communicates at, the number of bits, the parity, AND what commands it understands and what responses it generates.
