Hi @Merlin513. The Serial object is not for use in communicating via the USB CDC serial port of the UNO Q. It is instead used for communication via the UART: https://docs.arduino.cc/tutorials/uno-q/user-manual/#uart So you should see the expected results if you connect a USB to UART adapter module to pins 0 and 1 on the board, but you will not see it if you open the board's native serial port in Serial Monitor.
