That means that characters that are integers or are the minus sign are processed. Learn to read.
Granted, the bracket is probably in the wrong spot.

Thanks for your help, the English is not my native language and I often misread things that are actually very easy to understand.

As a native English speaker, let me assure you that description was poorly phrased and open to misinterpretation. It's not surprising that you were left in doubt. Hopefully you know now that it works sensibly. (It would have been quick for you to test this for yourself, too.)

I actually tested it before posting, but I got it wrongly wired, and the motor moved only forward, that was what confused me.
