First thanks a lot for the shiftOut tutorial using a 74HC595 Shift Register. ( http://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/ShiftOut )
I suggest that you add a note to it, precising that there is now an integrated shiftOut function in Arduino 007.
I added the tutorial code to my own code, then realized later on that the function was redundant. Removing it saved some precious bytes in my code !!
