SIM800L not connecting arduino Nano but fine with Uno?

Good afternoon,

I have a SIM800L module that works perfectly well with an arduino UNO board but I cannot get it to work with an arduino nano board?

I thought the boards were very similar? If somebody can shed some light on this situation it would be great,

How are you powering the SIM800 - is it drawing power from the nano? I don't think a nano can supply as much current as an Uno.

Seperate power supply, 2A supply.

Then you need to post your program and your wiring diagram.

Is it correct to assume that you use the same power supply with the Uno and with the nano?

And, just in case, can you confirm that it is NOT one of the new nano variants that have a completely different microprocessor?
