Sleep code for the 2560

does something need to be modified for the sleep code from the arduino site to work with the mega2560?

It has always worked fine with my duemilanove but doesnt want to work with the mega2560

It doesn't sleep or it doesn't wake? How have you got pin 2 wired? Through an external pull-up?

You should really detach the interrupt in the ISR - although I know this is probably stock sample code.

It wont sleep, so I havent even gotten to the interrupt yet

You didn't respond to my question about the wiring.

I enabled the pull-up like this:

Then (on the Mega 2560) it worked fine:

Awake for 9sec
Timer: Entering Sleep mode

Then grounding pin 2 woke it up.

Hi, I ask a question about this code, in this line :
"use a resistor between RX and pin2"
What is the value of the resistor there mentioned? Does it means short circuit, else what?
