Hello,

Currently I’m using YL-100 sensor to measure soil moisture content.
But in very dry condition sensor direct voltage output was 20 mV, and very wet condition it was 85 mV.

  1. Is this range enough to calibrate my sensor?
  2. Is something wrong in the sensor?
  3. Do I need to amplifier sensor output signal ?
  4. Please recommend good soil moisture sensors for me.

Calibration of soil moisture sensors is quite impossible, the readings depend on too many factors. A 85mV (peak) signal looks too low for direct connection to an analog input, you should amplify the signal.
